Medicines Team

We are really lucky to have an extensive medicines management team. They can answer many of the medicines queries that previously may have gone to your GP or nurse, and we all work closely together to ensure we are safely supporting your care. 

Pharmacists

Alongside managing much of our day to day medicines management and prescriptions, our experienced pharmacists support with monitoring the quality and safety of our prescribing, including with reviewing people’s medication with them. They are also able to support with Hypertension (blood pressure) and Cholesterol treatment and lifestyle advise looking at cardiovascular disease treatment and risk reduction.

Pharmacy Technicians

This team work alongside the pharmacists supporting with the day to day medication management along with improving safety and quality and answering the daily queries.

Prescriptions Admin

The medicines team are supported by Louise and our reception team in processing the prescriptions each day. There is a huge number of requests so please be patient and also support by bringing your tablet requests in line where possible.
